Exchange experience is a part of members integrated development experience that is giving
great development opportunity through going out from your comfort zone, both personal and professional learning.
Reading books, conferences, seminars, discussion groups, searching through the internet, talking to foreigners, and getting involved in topics of interest in the home country are all great ways of gaining knowledge but not experience, not deeper understanding. They do not have the same level of impact on an individual. These activities do not challenge an individual to live life through a different perspective, to have his/her values be questioned, or to create connections with people and places in other parts of the world, but they prepare an individual also to make the most out of his/her exchange experience.

Why exchange is relevant experience?
Is the only stage that takes you completely out of your comfort zone and challenges your worldview of fundamental perceptions, beliefs, and values,
Being on an international internship exposes you to a new business culture, way of work, way of living, and interactions with local people. Agents of positive change that we want to create need to understand and see different perspectives, lead diversity, and be culturally sensitive at a deep level of appreciation and understanding. Exchange experiences allow you to develop these characteristics at a deeper level than the other stages of the @XP, It can be the most intense of the AIESEC experience. You can develop competencies that are uniquely related to intense international experience

When i think about AIESEC most of the times i think about the future, my future and the one of the association.... but today i've seen a video...... We should think more to the past, we should understand better HOW everything started, to be able to find a strong motivation, to see things in a positive way.
Think to the past to envision our future being part of the present, writing the story.
We have a big responsibility towards those man and towards future generations.
